Present a typology of frames applicable to Foreign (English) Language Courses for Engineering Profiles, and demonstrates some frames in use for modeling educational texts and video materials inside and outside the classroom. In the second part of the article, it is shown that in hybrid teaching of heuristic reading and translation in foreign languages, the use of audiovisual materials contributes to the optimization of the teaching/learning process through the formation of professional competence in the nearest future. Linguistic, discursive and technical frames are used by the teacher to explain and implement communicative intentions taking into account intercultural diversity in terms of research, socio-historical and ethical-philosophical development. It is concluded that it is necessary to create an engineering multi-frame dictionary and video tutorials for future engineering specialists.
