The paper deals with the problem of forecasting the bankruptcy of organizations in Russian conditions. The relevance of this issue is due to the fact that the stagnation of country’s economy, an increase of the number of non-payments between business-partner led to the growth of the number of corporate bankruptcies in Russia in 2019. The consequences of the 2020 pandemic, which are reflected in a huge decrease of the solvent demand for products and services in different sectors of the economy and in the inability of enterprises and organizations to operate normally, will strengthen this trend. There is an active discussion of ways of improvement of approaches to evaluating of the probability of bankruptcy and tools for this evaluating in the Russian and foreign literature.
