The author analyzes ways of intra organizational set of personnel, means of set of personnel outside the organization and marks out an interview as the most effective method of selection of applicants. The offered criteria of an interview with potential workers and stages of training of the manager for carrying out selection of personnel can be useful not only in practice of human resource management, but more in training of managers in higher education institutions.
