The influence of linguistic organization of scientific knowledge on its functions and development is examined. A hypothesis of linguistic relativity and its role in the study of scientific language is analyzed. The research traces the influence of the language on theoretical concepts’ development. The heuristic role of the cognitive and communicative aspects of the language both in construction and methodological forecast of scientific knowledge development is revealed.
