Methodological aspect of modern literature lesson

Article explains the necessity of finding the most effective approaches to educational process organization in literature teaching. Referring to traditional formulation of some of the problems of literature lesson, the author offers a new solution to their correlation with contemporary social, cultural and educational situation. Literature school subject, like no other, introduces pupils to universal knowledge about life and a man in this life: meta-knowledge, which gives fundamental, systematic understanding of life. The advantage of literature over other subjects is in its meta-thingness. The problem of searching new methodological approaches and various innovative methods in modern education is connected to a literature lesson as a single and independent, but living and changing organism which has its own theoretical bases -structural elements which form it. Amongst all theoretical patterns the author singles out its typology, presence of a theme, goal setting, structure.
