Methodological tools of criminal law research

The article raises the question of the modern role of methodology in the criminal law sciences in conducting research. The essence of methodology in criminal law sciences and its importance is disclosed. In the current situation of consolidation of scientific specialties in general, and in particular the appearance of scientific specialty 5.1.4 Criminal law sciences, the formation and (or) revision of methodological tools of branches included in the named block has acquired special relevance. Methodological foundations of criminal-legal sciences should be associated with the possibility and cognitive perspectives of combination of sectoral and inter-branch methods and approaches to cognition of subjects of different branches included in the enlarged block.
