Бесплатный доступ

This article analyzes the most common methodologies in the literature for assessing the quality of information and information services, and develops a systematic methodological approach to assessing the quality of information services in the country. Since the quality of information services is reflected in the degree of user satisfaction from their consumption, the most appropriate method for assessing the quality of these services in a country is the survey method. In this case, the main aspects of the quality of both the information itself and aspects of the quality of the information services provision process should be taken into account. When assessing the quality of information services of a country from the standpoint of ensuring the development of the information services sector in it, it is necessary to take into account the quality of information services provided by local television and radio channels; through local newspapers, magazines, newsletters and other printed publications; quality of electronic information services provided by local news agencies, etc., for commercial purposes.
