Constructivist methodology in the socio-philosophical research of xenophobia

The article discusses application of the constructivist approach to the study of xenophobia, which opens methodological resources of the socio-philosophic dimension of its social essence research. Basing upon the constructivist methodology the author interprets the xenophobia as a way of modeling the social reality on the basis of the antagonistic opposition “us – them”, allowing efficient mobilization of the social groups and legitimation of the political and economic inequality in the society.
