The methodology of assessment projects cultural heritage in Syria

The article discusses the study of issues and options related to project appraisal and policy choices in the cultural heritage sector in Syria. The article begins the question of whether cultural heritage has economic value and provides an overview of the concepts and methods for valuing heritage assets. It analyzes how an economic benefit analysis can be used in assessing and selecting a cultural heritage project and in funding cultural heritage projects in Syria. The analysis shows that CBA is a useful approach in practical, everyday considerations in evaluating projects and choosing public policy measures in the cultural heritage sector.
