Methodology of forensic linguistic expertise (an old view of a new problem)

Methodology refers to a system of certain principles, techniques and operations used in a particular field of activity, as well as the doctrine of this system. Defining and choosing methods, understood in a broad sense as a research model in forensic linguistic expertise, it is necessary to find out what is its methodological basis. The methodology of forensic linguistic expertise should give priority to materialism, reflection theory and dialectical logic, as well as all domestic criminology in general. On this basis, the article presents the possibility of a productive and critical analysis of existing methodological approaches and concepts for the development of domestic forensic linguistic expertise, the emergence of new types of research within its framework, including the formation of scientific knowledge of this branch of criminology.
