Methods of analysis and forecasting of income from other types of railway transport activities

The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that income is one of the key indicators of the company's performance. The article briefly describes the main methods of economic analysis and forecasting. Examples of the main and other activities of JSC "Russian Railways" are given. The analysis of income from other activities of JSC "Russian Railways" in dynamics for 2018-2020, as well as a comparison of their structures. The forecast of the revenue component for 5 years was made using the trend method. Summarizing all the results, it was concluded that the company needs an effective revenue management system of its activities. Such a system is able to maximize revenue, as well as monitor the implementation of planned revenue volumes.
