Methods of personnel development analysis: comparative characteristics

The effectiveness of almost any modern organization depends directly on the quality of staff development. The article presents the content of the economic concept “personnel development of the organization” clarified by the author. In accordance with the proposed approach, the latter is a process of transformation of the composition and structure of the human resources potential of a business entity, changes in the labor skills and competencies of employees, aimed at ensuring a steady reduction in staff turnover, increasing labor productivity and maximizing the financial and economic efficiency of the organization as a whole on this basis. The author systematizes the main groups of methods for analyzing personnel development in modern organizations, including methods of qualitative, quantitative and complex econometric analysis. Through correlation and regression analysis, a statistically stable inverse relationship has been revealed between such a key indicator characterizing the development of personnel in organizations as the staff turnover rate in the Russian economy as a whole and such a significant criterion for the effectiveness of financial and economic activities of domestic organizations as profitability of sales (for 2016-2023).
