Methods of dealing with cold (thermal) bridges

This article examined methods of combating cold bridges. The concepts of thermal bridging were defined and some methods for improving the energy efficiency of a building were assessed. Special attention was paid to thermal bridges using the example of their use in metal profiles from Schüco. It was also considered how to calculate the total heat flow by area per node; how, knowing the heat transfer coefficient of a material, you can calculate approximate heat loss, and how cold bridges affect heat loss.
