The article considers one of the directions of modern psychological practice - art therapy. The relevance, significance and main advantages of this direction of work of the psychologist are shown. Specific practical techniques of art therapy are described, which can be used in work with children both in rough and out-of-school activities. At the same time, the described techniques of work can be applied both by a psychologist in their activities and by teachers.
