This article is devoted to the methodological substantiation of the problem of formation of motivational readiness to learn at school in children of senior preschool age. Thus, in the course of the article, the author describes the main methods and methods of work used by a teacher of preschool educational institutions in the process of forming motivational readiness for school in children of older preschool age.
