Methods and means of controlling active supports characteristics with the help of consumption regulators are described in this paper. Support operation has been studied with gas and liquid film for various types of flow. The influence of control systems parameters on the dynamic characteristics of various supports has been investigated. The method for the selection of the optimal regulator of the active support with the predetermined type of vibration generator has been demonstrated.
