Microclonal reproduction is a process of asexual reproduction of plants in the culture of tissues or cells, as a result of which the descendants that have appeared are genetically identical to the parent specimen. The purpose of this work was to describe the main methods of plant reproduction in in vitro cultures, five main methods currently used are characterized. In addition, the article provides a brief description of the main stages of reproduction, as well as reflects some of the subtleties of the process.
