Methods of multi-dimensional synthesis of searching the Fibonacci optimum in problems with water resources

The optimizing problems, connected with water resources: hydromodule choice, calibration of hydraulic model of river, rational water resources management of river on the example of Volga-Kama cascade and Volga delta, choice of rational option of technical actions on a water management area are considered. Problems possess common properties on required parameters and can be solved by only direct methods of optimization based on computing experiments. Large labor input of experiments forces to look for methods of decisions with a minimum of experiments. Multi-dimensional synthesis of searching the Fibonacci optimum belongs to such methods, his one-dimensional option is known. The algorithm, proofs, comparison with a simplex method of Nelder-Mead are given.
