Methods of radar signal processing for effective detection of low-flying UAVs

The paper describes the most relevant algorithms for primary radar signal processing aimed at detecting low-flying UAVs under conditions of high-intensity clutter from the underlying surface: inter-scan and inter-period moving target selection algorithms, Doppler spectral analysis, and false alarm rate stabilization methods. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the described algorithms is provided.
