The article discusses the problem of processing signals with Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing transmitted through a multipath channel (channel with memory). It is proposed to use the algorithm “reception “in general” with element-wise decision-making”, which requires knowledge of the impulse response of the communication channel at the receiving site for its implementation. There are two methods for estimating the impulse response of a communication channel: the regularization method and the least-squares method. The simulation of the frequency-division multiplexing signal reception algorithm is used to compare the proposed methods for estimating the impulse response. In the simulation, the value of the normalized mean square error of the impulse response estimate was calculated by two estimation methods. The normalized mean square error of the impulse response estimate is obtained from the regularization parameter for fixed values of the signal-to-noise ratio for the regularization method.
