The article provides an overview of the most common methods of assessment in the selection of personnel, which are used by Russian companies (assessment center, «360 degrees», rapid assessment, collection of recommendations, graphology, polygraph, security check and medical examination). Methods of assessment in the selection of personnel are considered in terms of compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, the problems that occur in modern practice of recruitment.
