Methods for optimizing intermodal transportation management

In the context of growing globalization and competition in the market, intermodal transportation is becoming an important link in modern logistics systems. Cargo transportation management requires special attention to the routing and distribution of vehicles, which is complicated by the specifics of intermodality. This work analyzes existing logical and mathematical routing models and develops algorithms focused on optimizing intermodal logistics. Basic algorithms for route planning will be considered, as well as mechanisms for adapting to changes in cargo traffic volumes. This will improve the efficiency of transport resource allocation and enhance the integrity of logistics operations.
