Methods of increasing the energy efficiency of heat-generating plants

The paper examines the technical efficiency and effectiveness of CHP plants from the perspective of system operators and consumers. The characteristics are discussed and compared in terms of CHP modeling, optimization objectives, constraints and algorithms, etc. The study is useful for ensuring more economical operation of the CHP plant and more profitable operation of the CHP system by system operators and plant owners.
