Methods of implementing facilitation in the educational process of contemporary dance in higher education institutions

The article highlights the problem of improving the educational process for students of higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation studying contemporary dance. The author of the article reveals the discrepancy between the application of traditional approaches alone and the needs that arise among students of this art form, characterizes the current teaching system as authoritarian and insufficiently flexible. The article examines the basic principles of contemporary dance, reveals their connection with the principles of the organization of training, emphasizes that today the interest in the personality and individuality of the dancer is coming to the fore, therefore, the process of teaching contemporary dance should be focused on the formation of creative activity of the student, his ability to independent development. As a technique that can optimize these processes, it is proposed to consider the current facilitation method.The basic principles of facilitative learning are revealed: the principle of task-based approach, modularity, dialogic approach, etc. Systematizing a number of facilitation technologies already used in the pedagogy of contemporary dance, the author suggests considering them as auxiliary techniques that can be introduced and combined with other teaching methods.
