Metonymic transferences in poetry of Alexander Blokh and Antonio Machado (by the example of colour words)

The article is devoted to basic tendencies of metonymic transferences in colour words in the poetry of Alexander Blokh and Antonio Machado. Correlation between figurative word meaning and specific character of word stems, semantic-stylistic and emotional-expressive descriptions of derivatives are under analysis. The author pays special attention to types of semantic connections between words and their derivatives, which are traced in a number of one-structured and metonymic formations.
