Interdisciplinary integration of BIM and IPD in higher professional education

In recent years, the growth of building technical equipment through the use of BIM in construction and innovative projects delivery in construction (IPD) has had a significant impact on the construction industry. As a result, builders, developers and academics have realized the need to train future engineers in these areas. While traditional training of civil engineers cannot fully provide them with practical skills in the field of information modeling and innovative work organization, it is still possible to pay attention to basic skills and knowledge obtained in the process of course design. The results of this approach to the formation of educational process of civil engineers expand their competence circle through the development of innovative BIM and IPD technologies.
