The essence of specialising and generalising models of the content of pedagogical education are revealed in this article. The models' preferences in the choice of interdisciplinary integration are analysed and the reasons for incompleteness of interdisciplinary interactions, insufficiency of graduates' interdisciplinary thinking and also the prospects of their elimination are proved.
