Interdisciplinary education as the basis for the fight against poverty in developing countries

In this article, using the institutional approach, the author explores the essence of poverty as a socio-economic phenomenon in the developing economy of the world and determines the need for the development of interdisciplinary education in higher education for the training of professional personnel. This is necessary to maintain employment of the economically active population, preventing the impoverishment of the population in the economically developing countries of the world, using the example of the Russian Federation. Today, one of the main problems of the development of the economies of countries and the production of economic and social poverty is unemployment, which is caused by the weak preparation of the population for the changing economic realities. The whole system of education in the developed countries of the world must be reformed to the changing needs of the economy. Conclusion of the study, proposed measures to reduce poverty at the level of a particular region, or the country as a whole. When introducing interdisciplinary education in higher and secondary special education programs, as well as the application of a multi-level education system in universities, in conditions of widespread penetration of the market economy, the development of individual entrepreneurship in the regions is possible. This will inevitably entail an increase in the number of jobs needed to stabilize the situation in preventing poverty as a socio-economic phenomenon in the developing countries of the world.
