Interdisciplinary approach to correction of speech disorders in children with abnormalities of dental occlusion

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the need to apply an interdisciplinary approach in a focused work on the speech development of children. The article aims to determine the boundaries of competencies of specialists to provide the most effective care to the patient. The leading approach to the study of this problem is the interdisciplinary approach to the correction of speech disorders in children with anomalies in occlusion of the dentition, which allows the effective interaction of specialists and the preparation of an individual treatment plan for each child. As a result of the study, corrective measures to eliminate various disorders of speech innervation were significantly accelerated. Stereognosis has formed in the organs of articulation, which has activated kinesthetic afferentations and contributed to the creation of a sensory-motor basis for the normative pronunciation of sounds.
