Interdisciplinary approach to forecasting of natural hazards

The article is devoted to the description of an interdisciplinary approach to the prediction of natural hazards. Using the example of drought forecasting, the author describes the interaction of various scientific disciplines. Considering the problem of the negative trend in the statistics of natural emergencies for 2017-2020, reflecting a sharp increase in the number of natural hazards on the territory of the Russian Federation (RF) over the past year, the author proves the need for an interdisciplinary approach to this problem.
