Interdisciplinary approach to research the problem of the history of the domestic invention. VIII historical and archival forum "Memory of the past-2019"

The article highlights the passage in Samara of the traditional historical and archival forum “Memory of the Past”, which is held annually by the Russian State Archives in the city of Samara on a predetermined significant topic of the year. The features of the 2019 forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the adoption by the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR of the Decree “On Inventions” are noted. Methodical issues of organizing a scientific event are considered, an analysis of the topical political, economic and sociocultural problems discussed at the forum in the history of Russian inventions, the role of the inventor’s personality in solving creative problems and the importance of promoting inventive activity in modern Russia.
