International activities of universities in the new geopolitical conditions

The results of a study of the activities of international services of higher educational institutions in the context of a pandemic, international tension and a special military operation in Ukraine are presented. The study was conducted in order to study the implementation of the project “Export of Education” by Novosibirsk universities. The ways of attracting foreign applicants, forms of international cooperation, features of migration legislation and its changes are considered. The topics of linguistic and socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students, their employment, the possibility of using ambassadors as translators of Russian culture are touched upon.
