International practice of accounting credits debt

The article discusses the concept of accounts payable, which is used in both Russian and international accounting practice. A comparative analysis of the normative regulation of its accounting was carried out, discrepancies were revealed in the procedure for recognizing accounts payable, reflecting on accounting accounts, conducting an inventory and disclosing information.
