International legal regulation of energy cooperation between Russia and China

The article deals with the cooperation between Russia and China in the field of energy since the collapse of the USSR. Numerous international agreements between the two states are analyzed. The strengthening of Russia's cooperation with China since 2014, when the first sanctions against Russia were imposed, was noted. It was concluded that China is currently Russia's most important ally, with which it is necessary to continue cooperation.
