International law aspects of environmental protection in the EU countries (part 1)

To date, despite the increase in the number of national legal steps and international environmental agreements, environmental deterioration continues, new environmental problems arise. In this regard, it is particularly relevant to study the experience of the European Union, which has implemented a focused environmental policy for the past 45 years and has many years of rulemaking and actual resolution of environmental issues. The paper discusses the issues of environmental protection in the countries of the European Union, analyzes the measures taken and the results achieved to improve and preserve the environment in the European Union.
