International sports as a factor of social and economic development

The article examines sports as a factor of socio economic development of the Russian Federation for the next 10 years, which will become the "mistress" of many sporting events, including at the highest international level. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia as an independent state in fact has no expertise in the conduct and organisation of major global sporting events, neither the appropriate infrastructure.
