International and Russian level of social protection of children

Based on the relevance of the research topic, the article characterizes the international legal level of social protection of children from the point of view of the history of its formation and mechanism of action, as well as the current Russian regulatory framework that determines the legal status of children. Within the framework of the analysis, the general problems of child protection in the Russian Federation are formulated and the measures taken to resolve them are investigated. On the basis of the research carried out, a general conclusion is drawn about the development of national legislation in this area.
