International terrorism: some aspects of the problem in historical context

Terrorism poses a grave threat for humanity. Killings, hostage taking, explosions, arsons and other subversive acts are the major manifestations of social, political, nationalist, religious and criminal terrorism. The author attempts to analyze the phenomenon of international terrorism in historical context. Special attention is given to the problems of implementation of various methods of fighting against terrorism, including actions of the Russian Armed Forces.
