International tourism as branch of sustainable development of the territories

In the article international tourism is treated as the branch of world economy, promoting sustainable development of different territories of the world. Main trends in this process are presented: assistance, rendered to agri-cultural regions, near-boundary districts, districts being presently developed, sea and river basins, spatial processes.
