Inter-firm cooperation as a factor of industrial development in the network information economy

The article deals with classification of new forms of inter-firm interaction as a factor of boosting the efficiency. A variant of the classification of the interfirm cooperation in accordance with the industry criterion is proposed and novel typology of interfirm cooperation according to the cycle of new value creation is developed. The latter helps to overcome the limitations of the value chain concept for classification of the new forms of interfirm interaction in the real sector of the economy. The paper introduces the new type of dynamic reconfigurable networks.
