Cross-cultural communication in international business: peculiarities of business English

The modern world is characterized by intensive development of commercial ties, cultural diversity and communication between countries. In the process of international business communication language barriers problems can arise. At the same time cross-cultural communication details should be taken into consideration. Today English is the most common and recognized language of business communication, which means that certain language training is necessary for successful communication in the sphere of international business. The importance and significance of developing strong interpersonal skills in English is also obviously certain. In the article special attention is paid to conditions of effective cross-cultural and business communication and peculiarities of International business English. It represents the ways to prevent communication failure, to improve verbal and non-verbal communication in English and to correct communicative mistakes.
