The paper describes borrowings and specificities of intercultural communications between Buryats, Russians, Evenks and Chinese migrants in the Barguzin valley of the Republic of Buryatia. It presents the ethno-local analysis of cultural categories in the particular region where different nations had contacted in the 18th - early 21th centuries: borrowings in traditional clothes, architecture and agriculture of the Barguzin Buryats. Methodological research in the intercultural communications carried out by foreign and Russian scholars of the traditional Buryat culture is analyzed. The author proposes a model of the cultural dialogue that was built during three centuries by neighboring ethnical groups. Borrowings in clothes by Buryats from Evenks, in architecture - from Russians, and in agriculture - from Chinese migrants are described in detail.
