Myth about 1213 year in the history of mineral exploration of European north-east of Russia

Data about revealing of copper ores at Tsylma-river in 1213 have not the documental base but often are mention in modern historic literature about Komi region. Firstly these «facts» were made public in 1948 during the period of so called «struggle against the cosmopolitism». Then these data got into the bibliographic summary of publications about the geology of European North-East of Russia and were published in Academician volume «Geological knowledge of USSR» devoted to Komi ASSR. Just since that time the data about 1213 year became the unique «gospel truth» which need not arguments. Today historically accurate data about the time of discovering of copper deposit on Tsylma-river are absent.
