Mythonimia as the sector of the onomastic space of the English folk tale

The typical features of the myphonimia as one of the most important sectors of the onomastics of the English folk tale are examined. The attention is paid to the system relations of the different groups of myphonyms, their structural peculiarities and the specificity of their functioning in the tale.
