The article reviews the features of mythopoetic imagery in Tuvan and Buryat dramaturgy in a comparative aspect. We have singled out the images of a mother, a warrior, and a horse, in the unique and original representation of which an eternal, sacred meaning is revealed. The study emphasizes the universal meaning of the maternal archetype as a preserver of the hearth at different stages of Tuvan and Buryat drama. It is argued that female images are a poetic reworking of epic tales, in which the images of a mother or sister of the hero-knight have the power of a female warrior of heavenly origin. Based on the established folklore tradition, we have analyzed the images of a warrior and his assistant - a horse, and the role of miraculous supernatural forces in their representation. We have come to the conclusion about vision of archetype images as a reflection of the desire of peoples for national self-determination, about intercultural dialogue caused by a single context of the evolutionary development of two national literatures.
