Migration and international relations in the assessment of regional experts (on the example of the Saratov region)

Based on the empirical study, the article considers an expert assessment of interethnic relations under the influence of migration processes in the Saratov region. The article identifies key factors and mechanisms of harmonization of interethnic interaction in the region, and outlined the role of authorities, public organizations in the integration and adaptation of foreign migrants in the region and describes potential challenges and threats to local communities, formed by the existing level of migration movements. The authors assess the structure and role of social and economic competition between the host population and migrants.
