Ministry of Finance and establishment of the commercial education system in Russia at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries

The article is devoted to the role of the Ministry of Finance of Russia and its minister S.Y. Vitte in establishing the system of commercial education at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries during the period of the country’s economic modernization. The purpose of commercial education was to solve the problem of providing qualified specialists for the rapidly developing private business.
