World and national experience of application of non-tertiary instruments

There has been a reduction and consolidation of customs duties and an increase in the role of non-tariff instruments since the signing of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade and the creation of the World Trade Organization. The article examines the world and domestic practices of non-tariff measures. The most frequently used tools are identified.
