World experience in building a digital economy and prospects for digitalization of the Russian economy

The impact of digital technologies on individuals, companies and society is a multidimensional phenomenon. Technology plays a key role in solving many problems. However, at the same time, the IT industry itself is struggling with the same problems that it seeks to solve. Rapid changes in industrial development and applicable legislation require constant monitoring of the operating environment and a deep understanding of current trends and developments. Innovation must be aligned with government goals, existing legislation, and future regulations. The article is devoted to the problem of building a digital economy on the example of some countries in China, as well as the prospects for the development of digital transformation in the Russian Federation. The author examines the key aspects of the development of digital transformation and digital tools from the standpoint of their impact on the socio-economic development of the modern world economy.
