World experience in extremism and terrorism counteraction in global informational space

The article studies the current issues of countering extremism and terrorism manifestations in the global informational space, which is used with increasing frequency by extremist and terrorist groups for society intimidation, propaganda of their maleficent ideas, recruitment into the fold, propagation of possible terrorist attacks plans, intelligence purposes. The author considers the measures undertaken by some countries focused on counteraction of extremism and terrorism spreading in Internet.
